The Harvest Days Festival Committee was established on March 15, 2022, to provide
leadership, planning, and staffing for the Harvest Days Festival on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The
Committee consists of 5 members, appointed by the mayor. The chair appointment also
requires approval from the City Council. The term of each Committee member is one year.
Recruitment to fill the Harvest Days Festival Committee began on March 16, 2022 and
concluded on April 6, 2022. Eight applications were submitted, and three applicants expressed
an interest in serving as chair. On April 11 and 12, 2022, Mayor Marcus Stevenson conducted
interviews for the chair position and selected Molly Signoretty to serve as Chair of the Harvest
Days Festival Committee. Mayor Stevenson’s decision to select Ms. Signoretty is based on her
professional experience working with government agencies, and leading committees of similar
size and responsibility. Ms. Signoretty’s fresh perspective, event planning experience, and
vision for Harvest Days will ensure this year’s event is a success.
On April 19, 2022, the Mayor appointed, with the consent of the City Council, Molly Signoretty to serve as Chair of the Committee.
On April 20, 2022, the Mayor appointed the remaining committee members: George Ferris, Lori Lloyd, Mike Williams and Rebecca Pipkin.
